5th Annual Gorilla Naming Ceremony Rwandas Mountain Gorillas: Celebrating the Year of the Gorilla(June 20th)

nullJune 20th 2009 (Saturday), Rwandas Tourism event Kwita Izina Ceremony (Gorilla Naming Ceremony) is scheduled to be held hosted by RDB Tourism & Conservation (former ORTPN). The venue is at the Volcanoes National Park. Celebrations will mark the birth of 18 gorillas that will be given names. The theme for this year is Celebrating the Year of the Gorilla. (more…)

Jazz for Peace Team to perform in Rwanda

nullRwanda is set to host Rick DellaRatta a world renowned jazz pianist and his group Jazz for peace at Petit Stadium and the Serena Hotel this weekend. International Peace Marathon in Kigali (May 24th)

nullThe 5th edition of the International peace marathon, will take place on sunday 24th May 2009 in Kigali capital of Rwanda. The organisation is under the lead of Rwandis Ministery for youth, sports (M.I.J.E.S.P.O.) in cooperation with Soroptimist Europe (S.I.E., Women association) and luxemburgish runners (A.L.M.K).
